Superlative Bespoke Shoes <\/span><\/p>\n

Master Yohei Fukuda is recognized as one of the pioneers of Japanese bespoke shoemaking. Fascinated by his art from an early age, he decided to travel to the UK to train as a shoemaker at the Tresham Institute (Wellingborough), where he was noticed for the meticulousness of his work and the vocation with which he worked at the workbench.<\/p>\n

After completing his training, he was hired by the famous British shoemaker Edward Green, and a few years later joined George Cleverley. In charge of bespoke shoes, he consistently develops creations of the highest quality.<\/p>\n

He returned to Japan and founded his eponymous atelier in 2008. Now based near Tokyo's Aoyama and Omotesando districts, he carries out his art in an elegant and refined boutique workshop, assisted by 5 associates and apprentices.<\/p>\n

Yohei Fukuda's creations are regularly acclaimed by specialist media such as Shoegazing<\/span><\/a> or<\/span> Permanent Style<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
